FUNDRAISING: CHECK OUT THE SHOWTIME WEBPAGE.
FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE: First Baptist Church does an amazing job of supporting our teens, so if your fundraising efforts are not enough to offset the cost of camp, and finances are still an issue, please contact the church office and Pastor Mike Brake will be in touch with you about further steps for financial assistance.
BRINGING FRIENDS: Summer Camp is always very special for our group. Lasting friendships and memories are made, God speaks and we have a BLAST together while doing it! This is WHY WE GO year after year! Challenge your teens to bring a friend with them to summer camp. The eternity of several teens could be impacted by this one week, if we can just get them there. And that is the biggest challenge, and that's why we're asking them to invite a friend. Cost is still the same, but as said before, we'll find a way to help with the finances for anyone that wants to go.

Summer Camp 2017
I think there are 3 HUGE REASONS to seriously considering going to summer camp this year.
One of the best parts of going to camp is meeting new people and building new relationships. No, not boyfriend/girlfriend relationships! But genuine friendships within the youth group and with students around the state of New Mexico.
Summer camps are designed for students to encounter God in a fun, safe, and positive environment. We play, we laugh, we cry (for those willing to admit it, I guess the rest of us had something in our eye!), and we build life-long memories. Year after year, the skeptic student at the beginning of camp boasts of how glad they were about making the decision to go to camp.
Is there any coincidence that when you and I spend a dedicated amount of time to seeking Jesus through prayer and His word that He speaks? Now try an entire week of seeking God with other students (and no cell phones because there’s no service!) and leaders who are doing the same thing. Jesus shows up at camp in some very real and powerful ways, EVERY YEAR!
I can think of no better way for your teen to have fun, grow in their relationship with others, and get to know Jesus in a closer way than a week at Summer Camp. When we get back, I think you’ll agree that it was worth the investment!
We're packing up and headed to Inlow to join hundreds of teens from around New Mexico for an amazing week of camp. Zip-line through the mountains, spend some time learning from amazing guest speakers, make life-long friends in "cluster groups" and grow in your relationship with Jesus!
