"...I make much of my ministry in the hope that I may somehow arouse my own people (Jews) to envy                             and save some of them."  (Romans 11:13-14)

Few times in my life and ministry have I been more anxious and reflective than the sermon I delivered this past Sunday. Which is exactly why I felt impressed to lay before the church the existing problems in our nation's government, their source and our response if we are to see our nation survive and the freedoms we share along with it. My purpose in giving this message is to possibly arouse Christians and citizens of our great nation to prayer and civil responsibility in the face of a growing resistance on the part of our federal government to uphold the laws and spirit of the constitution of the United States.

Our nation has crossed into the uncharted and murky waters of a Marxist philosophy. I simply ask you this question: "What is this age's (generation's) Alamo?"  At what point do we say 'no' to the direction of our nation and seek to take it back and correct the wrongs at the highest levels?

I only ask that you listen with a discerning ear and open heart. The single, overarching answer to our problems are rooted in our own repentance as a nation as we pray and exercise our civil rights (15th Amendment). I welcome your responses, comments and criticisms alike; so please email me at pastorpaul@fbc-losalamos.org.

May God bless and preserve our nation and it's government, laws and citizens; and may we all be aroused to the salvation offered us...

In Christ,

Pastor Paul
